Rain 04:13
Oh rain giving life for an instant I tasted your tears oh gods of the sky wash away our dust and all of these fears oh rain... Oh song on the wind I can taste you as you roll across these plains all seen lies within so gather waters let me feel this pain melt it into rain… Grandfather, grandmother, daughter, lover, sister, brother, mother, child, let your tears fall to the mountain valleys of your grandfather, grandmother, daughter, lover, sister, brother, mother, child, let your tears fall to the calling canyons of your grandfather, grandmother, daughter, lover, sister, brother, mother, child, let your tears fall to the desert longing of your grandfather, grandmother, daughter, lover, sister, brother, mother, child, let your tears fall to the mountain valleys…

Crucible 04:05
Landslide, wide-eyed, running to the ends of what name you, chain you, bottle you up and train you to be solid upright, but we can't run forever this face is facing forward but you're halted to the hearing Landslide, wild-child, turn your body back, say 'I'm gonna do this way i want and never gonna look behind' and when you show this, own this, they'll run for cover you're comin' like a landslide… This a crucible, endless ritual circled by fire, not asking to be saved and in your crucible all is touchable burn away, only you remaining… Landslide, wide eyed, own your body back to what it gave you, names do only what they're meaning so be solid upright, you came in like a fury and your purpose is a truth-test, ruthless — speak child! Heart-side, wild-wise, seeing only half-full bashful in the beauty yet your arrows meet their mark every moment barely woken woven deep into their cover, you're comin' like a landslide… We call from the sun-bound seer, we throw in the light from here… This a crucible, endless ritual circled by fire not asking to be saved and in your crucible all is touchable burn away, only you remaining…

Ours To Give 04:02
In it comes swift, in the nick of in the nick of time, like a wildlight And it turns the tables like a rhythm, like a fury might, leaving nothing unseen And you ask it why it came, it says 'you spoke me here, I am your corners uncovered, I am' And it pulls the blinders from your sleeping casts you in sight, inside it goes and out it's pouring you Here — we are ancient, a wind that carries the rough seed, and we are young and foolish a reckless whim, yet turning in, look deeper in to the grinding shoal of the swiftest change and all we may recall… recall… whats ours to give, what’s ours to give In it comes course to your current, sure through your veins, like a flood furious and flashing 'mong your limbs'll be bound unless bade to be set free, the ties untightening -- and only made of what you make of them you wove them here, to every corner uncovered they lead, so you pull your blinders from your sleepin’, set on your way, let all the subtle speak on through your ripple out Here — we are ancient, a wind that carries the rough seed, and we are young and foolish a reckless whim, yet turning in, look deeper in to the grinding shoal of the swiftest change and all we may recall… recall… whats ours to give, what’s ours to give To the brightening home of the ever-change and all it may recall… what’s ours to give…

Sure and swift in the winless race set free as an opened cage withered mind to regain your secret's fall like whispered rain and the night it holds like a met gaze your mirror knows the sudden flight through the gate aflame, wake and rise, it could be all life if you let the reigns and lean, lean in My love, be brave get up out your way, get up out your way when it calls you near, calls you near It can try to hold as I scream out, the burn of want, the cold of doubt, there is only this no pretend, no begin, and no end your secret's catch like a hidden throat your mirror knows the sudden-flight…. Can you let it lead… let lead… let…

Grace, Fully 05:19
Grace fully falling down like a river like the water run running on Moving the mountainside you are stronger you can shape it And as you gave to the fire to the fire So be made steam and ember into spires Circle of stones, boulders broken so you can hold them so you can hold all these bones of old, stories spoken so you can be them so we can breathe In like a wave out like a sighing catch it on a whim deepen to your longing Trench of tears, offered open so you can give them so you can give to the ocean old, moving moment so we can hear them so we can hear all these aching songs, ancient swimmers keepers of balance givers of sound time begins, still they are weaving so we can find them so we be found circle of stones, boulders broken so you can hold them so you can hold bones of old, stories spoken so you can see them so we can breathe Grace fully falling down like a river, like the water, run running on Moving the mountainside you are stronger, you can shape it

Holy Dust 04:59
Open lips and loosened fist you come before me come before me powdered nose and soon you go to please the pullings pulling swiftly tired limbs and softened wings you've tied too tightly come beside me ribbons fall and feathers breathe and learn to widen do not fear them I am stolen from whispered firelight this I am, this I am Holy dust from the breath before time here I stand, here I stand What will you do when your blinders fade not a trace of what caught you just the trail from what brought you What will you see when you're face to face curving lines coming undone that whole life leading up to this one

Hair like the winter's sun, tall like a ladder you can ask me what I write I'll keep scribbling till you stop your song Eyes like the ocean you move like jumper maybe I can hear your life in every note you play You're a seastorm, like a wave born right before, right before my sight Fallin' monsoon, let it take you right before, right before my sight There's wisdom in your innocence graceful failing into jewels of mistakes Choosing is your eloquence a thousand roads and not one right way Wear out your welcome, it suits you to stay with the weight of all your wonderin' you chose and baby can't look back Eyes like the ocean you walk like the thunder maybe I can hear your life in every step you take

As a wave across the land we are movin', movin' This ain't no phase, the change these bodies make and the way they are Facing forward, shoulder to the stone, telling of movin' it takes one step, it takes your voice, saying, "I am not hearing if you are not naming it I am not stopping if you are not changing it Here are my hands let's see what they're makin..." In the morning, in the rise up, there's a bridge from all that's been In the dawning, the vines are pushing through the pavement We were born of burning hearts We are tearing off the reigns From the ground up we will build it From the clouds above we'll rain it From the crowd up we will raise it From the ground up... You hold the spade to turn new soil For the coming grace, you hold the plans And no hands but our hands will lead our children And all that will feed you is a fierce prayer, is a fierce prayer, saying, "I am not hearing if you are not saying it I am not stopping if you are not changing it Here are my hands let's see what they're makin.." In this life we see so many things and sometimes our hearts may start to bleed a bit But I choose this life I'm gonna lead and I must give these hands to make it

Lantern 04:42
Listen child, how your voice makin these sounds where they tumble as mountain and stone Rage has a way of unleashing your Sol… These hands do not hold the strings that dance you, you're holding tight but don't want to dance this way and breaking away has never been shown to you my love, this trail is yours to set light to, no one but yourself can lead you where you must go only you know name it your own trail to set light to lead by night lantern set, set inside speak to the fear, speak it right tasting all that's come before you Here, hold, gotcha back all behind, all that's passed speak to the fear, speak it right tasting all that wants to move you... Listen child, how your throat's makin these rounds like a typhoon getting used to giving it’s wake Say it with all grace and no holding back your Voice of the voiceless knowing the nameless choosing the righteous worth what you give this

Lily Moon 05:49
Lily Moon I see your face I sit inside without a trace trail behind and ride your wake and lily white yet blushing crimson in the night will you be leaving with the light? And creeping over with the shadows at my side the moonlight yields the sigh I step and turn while you stick feathers in my back this flying lesson leaves a track Oh… darkness burns away… Lit with shoulders burning fire feather quills, the darkness burns away Lily Moon I see your face inside these eyes my own will trace, yet suddenly erased such lily white did spread it's arms out to the night these arms did clasp and sigh and half asleep I did try, try to hold piercing grass but it was grey, it was grey… memory, save my sight memory, come back to me… Oh… darkness burns away… Lit with shoulders burning fire feather quills, the darkness burns away then I saw twisted trunk, scattered mold black and speckled spotted stone hailing in with the cold wind whistle past and oh! dancing green pieced between wall of streets of ancient oak made of water quilt below grown of lightning , breath, and bone…

I could write of the broken tables upturned, broken china in my insides broken windows… And I could write of a wrinkled letter posted stabbing folded yesteryear, holding on… But would it serve you? And I could write of the dirty corners cobwebs still stuck to me lacy white and hard to reach… And I could write of a mixed-up morning hands upon these shoulders heavy, still not knowing… Would it serve you? How could it serve you? And in the lines I see the spiral of my trail, and in the dark I see the pattern of a rail... Moving, deeper, listen, slowly I fall away… And I'd like to write of the worldly weather clouds over these shoulders, changing getting outta myself… And I'd like to write of all that holds you but cannot quite see into, so come shortened parables… I'd like to turn upon the shadows, thrust upon them candles give 'em to the sun set down… I'd like to learn from old volcanoes, spew what we do not need what we do not need, what we do not… like, to write, the silence between what I'd like and what I'm merely being… And in the lines I see the pattern of a rail, and in the dark I see the spiral of my trail
